I wasn't a fan of Stella's previous fragrances, finding them too heavy and "classic" ( when i say the word classic, i mean the type of smell the fragrance has. Classic to me describes a fragrance that is strong, possibly woody, spicy etc, i.e perfumes like Chanel no 5, Elizabeth Arden Red Door etc ).
I was, however, pleasantly please that Stella has launched such a beautiful and delicate fragrance. Although, after reading what the perfume means - an a acronym for "Linda I love you," which, McCartney explained was "my dad's nickname for my mum.", I am not surprised Stella created such a fragrance in the honour of her mum.
L.I.L.Y offers a delicate balance between lily of the valley, with a touch of moss and exquisite black truffles. A fragrance for every
woman: it adapts to, and belongs to, you. Inspired by a natural purity
and the English countryside.
L.I.L.Y 's bottle design is encased by an Art Deco style frame, reflecting the mixture of light and darkness, feminine and masculine, holding a radiant cut-glass
bottle reminds of the old English vases.
This
fresh, sensual fragrance will fast become your must-wear scent. Available in EDT and EDP, Body Lotion and Shower Gel.
This fragrance is certainly on my valentine list and possible wedding fragrance.

An Exceptional Gorgeous Debut Fragrance by Elie Saab
When this arrived on my counter, firstly I had no idea who Elie Saab was but the fragrance just blew me away! This is a truly stunning perfume, and a perfume that actually last a long time. Since it's launch a few weeks back, every customer I have spritz and introduced this to have said good things about it.
So who is Elie Saab?
Born in Lebanon, Elie Saab started out designing dresses at a very young age. At just 9 years of age he was drawing sketches and cutting patterns for his sisters. By 18 he had established his own Haute Couture fashion house, an incredible achievement as it is very unusual to have begin your career in design as an Haute Couturier.
Inititally he designed for the women in Beirut and throughout the middle East, continually gaining recognition until he was actually designing for princesses and queens!
In 1997, Elie Saab joined the Camera Nazionale della Moda, an Italian fashion showcase for elite designers.
In 2000 he was invited by the French Federation for Couture to show his collection in Paris. This was a great honour and well deserved as Haute Couture is only shown in Paris.
Today, Elie Saab is seen as the designer of exceptional red carpet dresses for A List celebrities making his name in 2002 with his, now famous red dress worn by Halle Berry at the Oscars.
Other celebrities include Rihanna, Cheryl Cole, Emily Blunt, Dita Von Tesse and Elisabeth Hurley.
Each creation is designed to be more than a dress, an exceptional experience, showing beauty, elegance, sophistication and glamour. His design philosophy is the Triangle of Dreams - based on the three things that every women wants to be and can relate to.
The Celebrity
The Bride
The Princess
Elie Saab - Le Parfum
As with his dresses, Elie Saab wanted to create a fragrance that was exceptional, rigorous and fabulous, BUT was accessible to everyone!
A radiant impression sets off the perfume with orange blossom, leading into a sumptuous heart of jasmine absolute giving the perfume voluptuousness and elegance. Patchouli brings depth whilst cedar accord gives character and a lingering trail.
To soften the composition and giving it a beautifully addictive note is honey rose.
Fragrance family is Floral, Solar, Woody.
The bottle embodies the designer's universe. His vision from day one focuses on a pure form, simple, timeless, without artifice. A weighty piece of glass, which plays on light and transparency. A bottle that women will enjoy holding in their hands, a sensual relationship between the hand and the object.
The box use emblematic colours of his couture house, a Harmony of beige and white, highlighted by touches of brown and gold.
Available in 3 sizes:
30ml £38
50ml £55
90ml £71.50
Plus body products, Shower creams, Body lotions and Deodorant Spray.

Have you had your over does of love yet?
Loverdose, the New edgey womens fragrance by Diesel.
Launched on the 24th Aug, Diesel spiced up their fragrance with an exciting, exploding over dose of notes to give the women an "overdose of love".
Diesel says " It represents a woman who is sexy, playful and irresistible. She receives an overdose of love from those around her, but she wants more. She desires pleasure, adrenaline & passion."
The fragrance is a Floral Spicy comprosing of tops notes with star anise and mandarin. Sambac jasmine, licorice and gardenia petals form the core of the composition, placed on an oriental base of amber, vanilla and woody notes.
The bottle is symbolically designed to resemble a heart – shaped diamond pierced by an arrow, colored in intense shades of purple. The face of the fragrance is a young model Ashley Smith.
Sizes available are 35, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum and also a 200ml Body Lotion.
My review on it is that I love it at first, very licoricy which I haven't spelt in most sweet perfumes. However, due to the chemical makeup on my skin, I turn this fragrance really sweet and than it disappears.
I wouldn't say it is suductive, but definitely fun and exciting! A great smell for young teens and early 20's.
I am very disappointed with the body lotion though as it didn't seem to have a smell or carry any of the fragrance in it - although a lovely shade of pinky/purple.
